Saracens stars keep their place in Lions side

By Dominique Stafford in Rugby

SARACENS will once again have a strong contingent in the British and Irish Lions side for the decisive third Test against New Zealand after head coach Warren Gatland named an unchanged 23 for Saturday’s match in Auckland.

The decision means that Mako Vunipola keeps his place in the team, despite conceding a number of penalties and being sin-binned during the Lions’ dramatic victory last weekend’s second Test.

Hooker Jamie George, lock Maro Itoje, centre Owen Farrell – who kicked the late penalty to seal the win – and Sarries-bound full-back Liam Williams also keep their places in the team.

Victory for the Lions would give them only their second ever series win against New Zealand.
